This article makes some good points about "cleaning-up" your Facebook for professional job searching and how to look prepared using Twitter. Peterson, the authur is young and realistic. He highlights a great point about looking up the company's social media before interviews, etc. to get a feel for who they are as a company. I feel like I've seen a lot of articles like this but this article is straight forward and leaves me feeling less overwhelmed than most. Hope you find it as useful as I do.

Yes, this is something I mentioned in the last class. You should also keep in mind that just because it is private, it doesn't mean potential employers can't see it. Students who graduated a couple of years ago and are your Facebook 'friends' might now be working at the companies you are looking to work for.
True. Also - friends can still see a lot of information. When making it private, you have to remember that may exclude your friends as well.
